Ron Lyons (00:00):

Welcome to ina radio.com recorded right here in Celina, Texas, a quiet little dusty sleepy town that has absolutely nothing going on Guys. I am so totally kidding that. Of course, this Isani Texas and we have everything going on here. Now I'm Ron Lyons. This is CelinaRadio.com and we intend to have a good time. So put on your seatbelt and let's get started.

Ron Lyons (00:43):

Hey guys, it is Ron Lyons with CelinaRadio.com and I hope you are having an absolutely amazing day. I hope that it gets a little bit better in just a second. When you listen to this podcast where I sit down with Vicki, ho Vicki is running for Aina school board, and we had a very interesting conversation about kind of, you know, the person behind the candidate. I got a lot of insight into her life, what she likes, what she doesn't like, what motivates her. And I might have hit on something a little interesting when it comes to her and the king of country music. And yes, I mean, George Strait. So sit back And let's talk to Vicki. Ho All right, guys. I am here with Vicki Hogan. Vicki houe is actually running for Celinas school board, Vicki, how are you

Vicky Hogue (01:46):
Doing? I'm doing fantastic. Thank you.

Ron Lyons (01:49):

All right. And, and Vicki was kind enough to join us once again, what I'm starting to consider as my mobile office, which is at loosies and, and, and Vicki. Do you, do you guys ever come to loosies?

Vicky Hogue (02:01):
Yes, we were just talking about, and they have some great catfish and me and my

husband do love to come to Lucy. So we appreciate them having us here today.

Ron Lyons (02:10):

Absolutely. So, so I I've come here and, and one of the subjects has come up an awful lot in discussion lately has been the karaoke night here at Lucy's. Have you ever participated in that?

Vicky Hogue (02:22):

Oh, no. I think we a little chat earlier and you're talking to a hundred percent introvert and <laugh>, that would not be where you would find me, but I appreciate those who love to do that.

Ron Lyons (02:32):

And, and I'm in your camp on that? I would never, well, I say never, that's not true. I've done it once and I talked about it, but I wouldn't do it again. So tell me this,

how's the school bowl. Are grace going right now? Is it going well, do you hate it? What, how's it going?

Vicky Hogue (02:49):

Actually, I would say it's really great. It has been a great learning experience for the family. So there's four of us and four of us are out there. My son, my daughter, my husband, and me, and I know a lot of people in the community have seen us going through the community, just trying to get to know everybody and hear about what their thoughts are on the school board and what they would like to see in the school. So we've really enjoyed getting to know the community and really the experience for the kids has been great. It's a great experience for 'em to learn and see politics in action

Ron Lyons (03:21):

And the good news today. If there is any good news, I know it's never fun to do this kind of well, actually, I think it's great, but most people, this probably isn't their favorite thing to do, but the good news is we don't intend to cover a lot of issues and stuff like that. That that's not what this is about. This is about who Vicki houe is behind the scenes. So we're gonna just take a little bit of a look at you, kind of, you know the name behind what you see on all the political stuff out there. So, but, but do this when we first do you have, if somebody wants to contact you and they wanna find out more about your, your, your perspectives, your view, your platform, et cetera, how can they find out more about you?

Vicky Hogue (04:01):

Well, sure they can reach out to me. I'm on Facebook. It's Vicky ho 95. You can also send me an email at fee ho 65, gmail.com and reach out to me. I do text it's really easy to get a hold of me. My number 9 7 2 9 4 8 6 3 8 5. And I welcome any comments, any questions? I would love to talk to anybody about my platform.

Ron Lyons (04:29):

Okay. And I had asked you before, you know, is this, is this a good experience, a bad experience? I give me a number on a scale of one to 10, 10 being the best one being absolutely horrible. What is it? What, what, what would you rate this so far?

Vicky Hogue (04:42):

I would rate it an eight, probably on the higher side, because really it going to the school board, getting to know what really happens behind the scenes is very eye opening and really getting an opportunity to talk to the community, to the parents, to the teachers and understand what really drives them. What do they really want to see is wonderful. Whether I make the position or not. I know that I can be involved. I can help out the community and for us and for my family, it's a great experience. I said, I'm an introvert, but I'll say we're probably a house of introverts. So to get out and really understand, talk to people and teach that to your kids, you know, how do you approach them? How do you give them that experience so that they're able to

really understand and be involved in the community is a wonderful experience. So for the most part, it's been a great experience for us.

Ron Lyons (05:33):

And, and that's good because politics, I mean, it's rough going out there, putting your name out there and doing all this stuff is never just an, an easy process for anybody. I've done it a couple times. And like I said earlier, God bless you for, for doing it. And it is a great experience. It's really good for your kids as well. So tell me this. Why now, why are you running now? What's what what's motivated you to hop out there and get into this race?

Vicky Hogue (05:57):

Well, my biggest motivation is a great educational experience for all kids. And I will say, especially being an introvert, it's not always easy to get involved and to figure out how to be a part of something. And when you're talking to parents and you find out that maybe they aren't have that great experience, I want to understand what is it, what is it that we can do to ensure that every kid, not just a great education, but a great experience when they're in school, that they want to come to school, that they have friends that they're able to be involved and are we providing them everything they need to really it, because with that comes the desire to learn and really become educated. So for me, it's very important to find ways to really drive that experience for all students.

Ron Lyons (06:49):

So aside from the candidate and running for office and doing all of that, what else is your life like? What else do you do? What if you, don't, don't mind sharing what you do for a living and, and what's a day look like in your life.

Vicky Hogue (07:02):

So I love to share what I do. I actually have a great job with pizza hut and my job is food safety and quality. And what I get to do is look at all the products. So I make sure that every product that goes into the restaurants for pizza hut is the, it needs to be. And we work with a lot of suppliers who supply us that great product. So I really get to understand supply chain and how our food gets to the table. And I work with a lot of great people, but the most fun thing about it is my kids get to eat a lot of pizza <laugh> and so they love it. And I, it keeps me quite busy.

Ron Lyons (07:37):

That's that is a great benefit. And, and if one of them ever don't want whatever the, the benefit is that you're giving them from, from work, I I'll I'll take any leftover. Okay. That's

Vicky Hogue (07:48): Great to know.

Ron Lyons (07:49):

Give, give me an idea of well, first, first of all, I guess we should say the early voting is on now election days coming up. When, when is election day,

Vicky Hogue (07:59):

Election day is May 7th, I believe Saturday. So really looking forward to that and really excited to have everybody from the community come out and vote and really get involved. I know that as a parent, that's a great way to make sure your voice is heard. Just get out there and vote.

Ron Lyons (08:18):
Tell me how long have, have you been in the Celina area?

Vicky Hogue (08:21):

We've been in the Celina area a little over 11 years. My husband is actually grew up around this area. I'm a, from the Houston area myself, but always been in Texas. And I grew up in a small town, Cleveland, Texas. So I know a lot about small towns, very familiar with it and been a Texas girl all my life.

Ron Lyons (08:39):

I like that. It it's, it's a, it's a dynamic time in Celina. There's so much going on right now. And you can just kind of feel all of the the energy of everything that's going on around here. So, so aside from loosies, you obviously like loosies, everybody loves loosies. Do you guys hang out anywhere else? Do you go to any of these other restaurants around town?

Vicky Hogue (08:59):
Well, you know, we have a 11 year old, so we have, <laugh> two, the different

different shops here around town. I like to shop for the soaps at the bus above

Ron Lyons (09:15):
City soap over there. Yeah. That's I know this is gonna sound really odd, but that's

one of my favorite places as well.

Vicky Hogue (09:20):

Yes. Me and my daughter love going in there and they have the best laundry soap. So I have to give them the plug. But selfishly, I will say I like the Asian bistro. It is not probably something that the family does. We eat at home a lot. And so we cook a lot of meals, probably the majority of them, but as a special treat to mom, cuz I love it. And they do a wonderful job. That would be one of my favorites.

Ron Lyons (09:42):

Well, that's, that's, that's one that I haven't heard. And it's actually one that I, I, I really like it as well. It's kind of one of those little, I, I don't wanna say it's unknown cause everybody knows it's there, but it's surprising how good it is.

Vicky Hogue (09:54):
It is really good. I would definitely recommend to anyone to go there because it is

surprising, but it is worth it. It

Ron Lyons (10:01):

Is it's. It's fantastic. So give me an idea. You said that you eat a lot of your meals at home and that sort of thing. So what would a, what would a typical meal in your household be?

Vicky Hogue (10:09):

Well, a typical meal in our household would probably can be a steak of any kind. So I know my husband's here with us, so we eat a lot of steak. I prefer fish, but the kids love steak too. And then me and my daughter of course love salads and any vegetables we can throw on there, but we do cook quite a few meals. You know, we have to balance that piece with something.

Ron Lyons (10:32):
Yeah. Yeah. That makes sense. So, so gimme an idea. What, what do you do for fun

and relaxation? Do you have any hobbies, anything you like to

Vicky Hogue (10:39):

Do? Lots of things. I have tons of hobbies that probably too many. Have you asked my family and my daughter's right there with me. So anywhere from knit team, I always say in today's world, you can go online and learn about anything. So I love to knit. I have sew machine in my office right now. It's that perfect time for gardening. So I have my garden stuff out there. I really grow a lot of bunnies. I tell people the bunnies really like the garden <laugh> but I do it love to go out for walks, ride bikes. So anything to keep me busy, we have a puzzle waiting to be finished and we have lots of crafts going on. So my daughter has to things with school she's still in elementary. So she brings home those home projects, which I love. I know not everybody does. And we just take the time to do 'em together.

Ron Lyons (11:25):

So you guys, yeah, you, it sounds like you stay real busy and have an awful lot of stuff going on. A lot of things that you're interested in I'm I'm gonna ask you questions that are gonna be maybe a little less about you as far as like all the fit family stuff and a little bit more about you individually. Okay. And, and some are gonna be fast. One, one word, answer. Some I'm gonna ask you to elaborate on first one favorite movie.

Vicky Hogue (11:51):

So my favorite movie would probably be the outsiders from years ago. <Laugh> and I will tell you why, because it had all the main characters from that era in there. So like Patrick Swayze, Matt, Dylan, and Rob low. And so I can remember reading the book first and then going out and watching the movie many times.

Ron Lyons (12:10):

Very good. And, and tell me this. Do you have any, any of your family that also enjoys that movie or you kind of like the hold out? You like it and everybody else? Because that's how it is for me with star wars. I'm like, I'm the only person I can't get my wife. My, I can't get anybody else to love star

Vicky Hogue (12:24):

Wars. Oh, I'm definitely the holdout. But if you ask my family now I, I will put this plug in. I do like the Marvel movie. So me and my son are big on that. My daughter's not the biggest fan, but she's like, oh, well, Marvel mama there's Marvel movies coming out. So we did that when he was little. I know we were, it's supposed to be about me, but we went to iron man and I've been hooked ever since.

Ron Lyons (12:46):
Well, I, I have an, an innate way of tying everything back into to you anyway. So

favorite Marvel character

Vicky Hogue (12:53): The and Loki.

Ron Lyons (12:55):
Okay. Wow. That is interesting. That's not one that I would've expected. So that's,

that's good. Give me an idea of if, if you could,

Vicky Hogue (13:09):

I think I'd like it to be in a movie that's motivating as much as I like the movies that we shared. I think it would be something that would be very motivational. I also like to follow a lot of personal stories or real stories and so something that would be inspiring to help lift others up would be something that maybe would be meaningful and a movie that I would like to see myself in.

Ron Lyons (13:31):

I like that. I like that answer. That's that's, that's very good. Do me an idea since you mentioned the outsiders and that era that I feel like I can ask you about the breakfast club. Did you, are, are you a fan?

Vicky Hogue (13:43):
Yes. And the music too. My daughter probably knows more 80 songs than current

<laugh>.

Ron Lyons (13:48):
That's awesome. So, so which which character on the breakfast club would you relate

most to back when you were in high school? Vicky Hogue (13:58):

Well, I was quiet and introverted, but believe it or not, I didn't let it stop me. I was student council, president. I was very active in anything I could be active in, whether it be four H and FFA. So I don't know which one exactly would apply to me, but I like to keep busy. So ever character like to keep busy.

Ron Lyons (14:17):

I, I think, I think you might have been Molly ring world's character. That that might be it. I'm not a hundred percent sure, but that's that, that's who I would guess right now. So do you have a favorite actor or actress?

Vicky Hogue (14:30):

No, not currently that I could just point out at the top of my head, I think because I stay so busy, I have it in the back, but I so oftentimes doing other things or all those hobbies as a TV's going

Ron Lyons (14:41):
Right. And, and what's your favorite kind of music?

Vicky Hogue (14:45):

Well, I did say I love eighties Mo music, but I also love country music. That's probably where my heart is. That's what I grew up listening to. And so that's really probably gonna be the tops, but my daughter's more of a rock and roll fan. So we keep it a healthy balance with the eighties

Ron Lyons (15:00):
Right on. And, and I'm kind of right there with you. I love country music. Were you

guys able to go to the troop door festival that we had?

Vicky Hogue (15:06):

We did not, but I have spent many times different concerts and I will tell you my mom, she was very forward thinking and she took me to many of George straight concerts at thought Houston, livestock rodeo. We even got up front. It's probably one of the best memories I have of him riding around on that horse and being able to put my hand out there and get

Ron Lyons (15:26):
A flat. That is amazing. That's awesome. I've gone to, I think I've seen George straight

now Weis and I'd go a hundred more times if I could.

Vicky Hogue (15:33):

Oh, I've seen him many times. I can imagine with my mom sitting there and she got us at the very, their very front at the livestock show rodeo of one of the best memories I have.

Ron Lyons (15:41):

So, so you actually got to reach out and touch the horse, is

Vicky Hogue (15:44):
That no, he goes around, you know, riding the horse and he'll put his hand out and

kind of almost like shake hands, but really early tax.

Ron Lyons (15:52):
Right. Well, so, so you have actually had hand to hand contact with the king of

country music. Yes, I

Vicky Hogue (15:59): Have.

Ron Lyons (15:59):

Well, that's impressive. I, I am jealous. So give me an idea of, since we're talking a little bit about kind of the high school time and all of that, if you could go back in time now and speak to your or 18 ish year old self, what advice would you give yourself? Or what would you say to yourself?

Vicky Hogue (16:18):

I would say be courageous and keep pushing. There was a lot of stuff I wanted to do, but you know, being introverted, being quiet, sometimes I would let other people talk me out of it or convince me that maybe I wasn't good enough to do it. And so I would tell myself to, you know, go for, for it. You can do it, you have everything in you to take that leap and go for it and do what you wanna do.

Ron Lyons (16:38):

That sounds like a really good message to give to the kids now. Yeah. I mean, and, and isn't that the whole ideas that we're all motivated by our own life experiences. So I think that's fantastic. Thank you. Yeah. So tell me this. I wanna, I wanna get in now. Let's go. Let's go negative. Okay. But not really. What's your biggest pet peeve?

Vicky Hogue (16:58):

Oh, probably when people tell me that's the way we've always done it when I question or ask, cuz I'm always curious. And like I said, you know, you can find anything nowadays. It's all out there for us. And when I'm asking or is there a better and the back fall is, well, we've always done it this way and really not looking for other ways or even not listening to other perspectives.

Ron Lyons (17:23):

So you see that as, as something that you would definitely I guess be a catalyst for change almost is like, if, just because something has been set a certain way for a long time, you're not gonna be an advocate for, well, then we need to keep on, you're gonna say, well, maybe we need to do it a different way. Is that right?

Vicky Hogue (17:39):
Yeah. Maybe we need to ask and get some perspectives cuz there's always other ways

just listen, let's take the time to really listen. So

Ron Lyons (17:48): Favorite color.

Vicky Hogue (17:50):
Oh, well that one's easy. Maroon Aggie maroon. <Laugh>

Ron Lyons (17:53):

Okay. I, I was gonna say, I was gonna say why the color, but I think you just answered that. So gimme a little more perspective on what's your connection with Texas Aggie's.

Vicky Hogue (18:03):

So I'm a Texas a and M graduate along with my sister. And so I'm really proud as Aggie are to be a graduate. I graduated a couple years ago, many years ago, poultry science, major and agriculture developments. I picked up to really big. My family had always been big on just the agriculture four H FFA. So that was where my passion lied and I love the school, had a great experience. And to this day still have a lot of, of great fond memories with a and M.

Ron Lyons (18:31):
So one of the things that's really big down there at a and M something that I

remember from visiting a few times is the, is like you said, the pride.

Vicky Hogue (18:39): Yeah.

Ron Lyons (18:40):
That's something that's also huge in Celina. What do you think about that? I mean,

we're, we're, we're a very prideful town.

Vicky Hogue (18:45):

Well, that's, that is the exact example that I always think of about in my ahead, especially when we talk about traditions, when you do it well, and you include everybody, traditions don't die out, they are strong. They keep the community
strong. And I feel like that's very important to Celina and that's something that was very important as an Aggie and they knew how to do it. And those traditions live today. And I feel like the community really that's something that you really hear, like we don't wanna lose or traditions and that pride that we have in the community and you certainly don't have to a and M has grown a lot and those traditions still exist. So really being mindful of how we push those out there and how we celebrate those

traditions and they will remain. And I am certainly an advocate. I know how wonderful that can be in a community

Ron Lyons (19:28):

With all of the stuff going on in. So Aina right now it's, it's great in an amazing place to be. And that's why we're here, right? Because we have passion for Celina, but if you could live anywhere else in the world, where would that be?

Vicky Hogue (19:43):

Well, I left the beach and I don't know how I think we're our family divided. My daughter would be right there with me and I would have to say Hawaii because we are swimmers. She will find us in the summer, in the pool probably daily.

Ron Lyons (19:56):
So, so that's <laugh> so we're not talking about Galveston or

Vicky Hogue (20:01):
Something like that. Oh, no. Like Hawaii is what I'm thinking. Yeah.

Ron Lyons (20:04):

You're gonna, you're gonna, you're going for the big stuff you're going for the high end there. So tell me about historically there's a lot of people and you've heard me probably ask this question before, but if you could choose someone from history to sit down with and have a discussion, who'd you like to sit down with?

Vicky Hogue (20:23):

So I have to tell you a little story. So I'll, I'll just start with, I have heard the question before, and I was curious and I, I know it's about me, but I always bring the family in. I, so I ask everybody and I do have an 18 year old and I will say his reaction was, let me think about it a little bit, which is probably more mama. My, my daughter, her reaction was, which is more dad, like was quick to tell me Maria Curry. And I was like, okay,

Ron Lyons (20:50):
<Laugh> okay. You're gonna have to enlighten me a little bit. You see this puzzle?

Look on my face.

Vicky Hogue (20:54):

Yes, mine too. And so she explained to me that she developed, or she was the scientist who founded radio radio activity. So that really the theory behind it. And then she also discovered two elements on the Preo table. I can't repeat 'em I'm sure Missy can. And she was the only woman to win two Nobel prize peace prizes. So as me and my son were discussing it, he was like, I don't know, mama, that's a bit scary. I don't know what I'd say to somebody like that, but my daughter finds it fascinating.

And I really think that's kudo her teacher. And I have to say, miss Patterson's big kudos, because she has instilled that love of science in that child. So

Ron Lyons (21:34):
That's awesome. And, and so, so what does mama say? Who, who does mama sit

down with?

Vicky Hogue (21:38):

So I really gave this some thought. And as I thinking about it, I think I would sit down. There is a sister and her, her name is sister Maria Luo. And when she was young, the lady of FIMA appeared to her and her cousins. And she told them if they pray the rosary, they'll be helping the souls get to heaven. And so for them to pray every day and they were probably what probably younger than my daughter, maybe younger than 10. And for me, what's fascinating one that it happened in the story behind it. But two that she lived all her life. She became a nun. She devoted her life to that. But when she was little, everyone around her was telling her that's not true. And we don't believe, and I would like to ask, how do you have at such a young age that faith and that dedication to everybody telling you, Hey, this is not right. Or maybe you're not seeing something that is correct. And she faithfully believe tell her last day. And for me, that is just tremendous. I'd love to understand how do you have that level of faith and confidence at such a young age to where that you're going, going to do it. Even when everybody around you is doubting you, it's just, I would love to learn a little bit about that.

Ron Lyons (22:51):
So, so that's who you would spend a little bit of time with and with all of Celina,

where would you, where would you meet her to have this discussion?

Vicky Hogue (23:02):

I think we would have to go out to some place like on the square where Navy is out there so that we would discuss, and she could see the beauty of the community and everything around us.

Ron Lyons (23:12):

So, so you're out on the square with her and you've got these very serious deep questions and, and you wanna understand all this stuff. And George Strait is fleeing on the, on the, on the sound system on the square, like is fairly common. What does she say to that?

Vicky Hogue (23:27):
Well, I feel like anybody would have a great for George straight. Of course <laugh>

Ron Lyons (23:33): Okay. That is that's

Vicky Hogue (23:34):

Awesome. But I have to believe somebody like that has a true appreciation for the community and everything that's going on around them and everything that we fostered. So I would have to believe that she would appreciate that. And definitely still want to instill that faithfulness in all of us. But for me, it's just understanding how do you, how do you keep that? When everything around you, is it seemingly so different

Ron Lyons (23:57):

Right on, so give me I, I, you know, I, I love switching gears on people, so you're right now, we're, we're down this real, you know, not serious, but we're, that's, that's thought provoking that's that's like intense like that. And then I like to switch right back. Okay. So, so, so, so hang with me on this. Do you love coffee or hate coffee?

Vicky Hogue (24:16): I love coffee. How

Ron Lyons (24:17): Do you take it

Vicky Hogue (24:18):
With a lot of cream and a little bit of coffee? A lot of sugar.

Ron Lyons (24:22):

Is it, are you I I'm a fan. I, you, I love our local places and stuff, but I'm, I'm, I've become a fan of going through McDonald's and grabbing their coffee. That's I don't know why, but that's one of the things I really like from there. And I, and I hate to say it, but I, I, I don't have a great day if I don't have that sometimes. Are you that way? Is it, is it that important in your life or you're like, ah, I can take it or leave

Vicky Hogue (24:44):

It. Oh, no. It's that it hadn't always been. I used to be a diet Dr. Pepper gal. I still love my diet Dr. Pepper, but in the morning I have to have two cups. I do it at the house. So that way I can get my I'm a fan of the flavored coffee. So I'll stick some flavor in it, but lot of, lot of cream, lot of sugar.

Ron Lyons (25:00):

Yeah. That makes sense. That, that sounds a lot like how I like it. So you are in the I wanna call the food industry, even though it's, that may not be the exact correct term, but, and your husband is too, is that correct? Yes, he is. And, and can we say what he does?

Vicky Hogue (25:15):
Yeah, he works for PepsiCo, but specifically does a lot with free lay.

Ron Lyons (25:19):
Okay. So do you guys ever have any debates over different products coming out of

the companies?

Vicky Hogue (25:26):

Yeah, all the time. And I will say during COVID I had the opportunity to really do a lot of evaluation of products and both my husband and my son are fantastic at tasting different product and being able to give me a really good critique on what needs to be changed and how it needs to look. And just because we're always looking at food,

Ron Lyons (25:46):

It give an idea of like this is just intriguing to me. Give me an idea of, of if you can, without getting in any trouble. I don't know what the requirements are, but give me, or, or maybe you can't name the product, but you can tell me what type of product, but gimme an idea of one that you guys have kind of seen differently. Maybe recently,

Vicky Hogue (26:08):

I think that the spicy, the spicy piece that we just came out with me and Landon loved it, just the spiciness. But I think for my husband, they also have another one called Detroit, which he's a really a fan of. And of course he's more of a low carb guy, but that one does kind of like a pan pizza with the sauce on the top. It's not on the bottom and really gives it a different texture. So just texture wise, we're probably a little bit different. And then even seasoning wise, we're probably a little bit different on what we favor.

Ron Lyons (26:38):

So, so a debate in the hog household is over pizza and spicy this or, and all that stuff. That's awesome. I love that. I'm gonna wrap this up. You've been fantastic to have here. Thank you so very much for spending your time doing this. I know it's and, and you were really, really, really patient with me and scheduling perfectly fine. So thank you for that. I, but the, the thing I like to ask at the end of every one of these is why Celina, like, what do you love about Celina?

Vicky Hogue (27:08):

I love the people and getting out there and meeting them. I love it more. And I really, for me, it's the diversity of people that you meet. I think that really makes the community beautiful and we've met so many wonderful people. And as you get out there and get to, and know the people you get to realize and appreciate what they have to bring into the community to make it even more fantastic than it is today.

Ron Lyons (27:30):

So I'm, I'm curious. And I, and I don't typically ask another question right now, but I am very curious cuz you're kind of you're involved and we've got an event coming up very soon. CCO de Mayo, are you guys gonna be around for single de Mayo?

Vicky Hogue (27:42):

We share our are gonna be helping out with SICO de Mayo. So I got my husband, he's gonna be helping them set up. And then I promised them that I was gonna be helping them with anything they need and decorations cuz you know, I love crafting. So we are excited about SICO de Mayo and we are excited about helping them with that.

Ron Lyons (27:59):

Very good. Well Vicky, thank you so very much. And, and I look forward to telling everybody about your experience with George Strait and you actually <laugh>, you actually got to touch the hand of the king of country music. So thank you so much.

Vicky Hogue (28:13): Thank you. I appreciate it.

Ron Lyons (28:17):

All right guys, that is Vicki ho and I appreciate very much her willingness to work with me and a very chaotic and crazy schedule, but ultimately we ended up at loosies. Thank you very much loosies on the square. And we had a fantastic conversation. I hope that you were able to get a little bit more insight into who Vicki ho is behind the candidate. And personally, I thought it was kind of cool whenever she was talking about being at the concert with George Strait and he's riding around on the horse and get to put your hand out and you know, make hand to hand contact with the king of country music. Of course that's pretty awesome to me. So guys, thank you so much for listen, sing radio.com. If you would share this with your friends, post it on your social media, just help us get this thing off the ground because we've got some amazing and fun things coming up, but we can't do anything without your help. So as usual guys, God bless And we'll see you on the next show.
