[2022] Celina Podcasts

As part of my due diligence, I regularly listen to local podcasts. And we have more than a handful in and around Celina. For the most part, they all share something in common: they will put you to sleep faster than watching golf on TV on a lazy Saturday afternoon. And I'll be honest; I've been guilty of this on other past podcasts I've been a part of. But boring is one word that will never describe my latest Celina Podcast (CelinaRadio.com). When I first began thinking about launching a Celina Podcast, I KNEW that It had to be better than the rest, more exciting, and ultimately deliver a much better product.

As I write this blog post, I am listening to another podcast. Wow. Wake me up in thirty minutes. Please. But let's not focus on the others. Let's concentrate on The Celina Radio Podcast. Delivering all that is excellent about Celina, Texas in such a way that you feel like you are watching an epic movie instead of reading a dull newspaper. As we all know, living life in Celina, Texas, is exciting. As a Celina Podcast, we want to represent that amazing life in Celina through each episode. It's a big job with lots of hard work, but it's worth it. I have a great time producing each episode and from the feedback and stats, you enjoy it just as much!

The guests on the CelinaRadio.com podcast have included everyone from Celina city council and school board candidates Philip Ferguson, Dan Williams, Eric Becker, Chad Anderson, Tony Griggs, Vicki Hogue, Choc Christopher, and Chuck Hansen. We've also had Celina Mayor Sean Terry, Celina EDC Director Alexis Jackson, and Celina Police Chief John Cullison. Some of the local business owners featured on The Celina Radio Podcast include Kim & Cleve Wickliffe from Swirls Bakery, Rachel Baty from Annie Jack on the square, Mikala Everson from Grannies Sweeties Bakery, Jim Scano from Atomic T-Shirts, Holly Farrow from Holly Farrow Photography, Karla Vargas from The Horse & Donkey Rescue, Andy Hopkins from The UPS Store, Eddie Cawfield from The Cawfield Law Firm and Joey Dawkins from The Toasted Walnut restaurant as well as Melissa Grisham from Run Celina and Celina's first 5K Run.

But city officials and business owners aren't the only ones that have landed on this little Celina Podcast. We've also had entertainers and singer/songwriters like Lady Redneck, Coffey Anderson, and his wife Criscilla from Country Ever After (a Netflix Reality Series.) We shared one of our Celina Podcast episodes with two famous people in the world of children's television, Doug and Emmy Jo Momary from The New Zoo Revue. In a word, it's been AMAZING. And, as you may well know, we NEVER just do an interview. -We always do something fun. Maybe it's playing a game made for girls with a local attorney, or it's having one of the local bakery owners make a cade DURING the podcast with an Easy Bake Oven. And that's just barely scratching the surface of what goes on during one of the Celina Radio Podcasts.

Everyone in Celina, Texas, talks about their life in Celina and how they strive for the city motto of "Life Connected." It is my (very biased) opinion that our wonderful life in Celina is well represented with CelinaRadio.com and our goal is ALWAYS to help Celina residents discover a better, deeper Life Connected. Celina is amazing, it's fun. And I hope that my little Celina Podcast helps represent Celina, Texas, in a very positive, uplifting way. The way I see it, I am blessed to be able to continue to share the community we all love so much!
