CelinaRadio.com is something I've wanted to do for some time now. I have a regular podcast that I've been doing for several years now called the Ron Lyons Real Estate Show. However, it's easy to see why people in Nebraska probably don't care too much about Friday Night Market on the square in Celina, Texas. So, the concept of a much more local show was born.
So far, the show has met with outstanding success. After the initial presentation, quite a few people in Celina made a point to let me know that they listened and liked it! So far, the podcast is on Apple Podcasts, iHeart, Spotify, Stitcher, PodChaser, Amazon Music, and TuneIn.
The first episode of CelinaRadio.com is an introduction of sorts, along with a taste of the podcast's vibe. In the show, I say that my vision for it is to have the feeling that we are just chatting. Simple and relaxed. I genuinely want the podcast to meet the needs of many different listeners, including those who wish to be informed and entertained. Of course, the magic is in how I make that happen. I would go so far as to say that the success or failure of the podcast depends on that magic.
To me, most podcasts are dull. And typically, I don't get to the end of one feeling better than when I started listening. So that is my desire, to NOT put out another boring podcast and always strive to give you something in return for your time listening.
My way of doing podcasts is to have exciting topics and present those topics on a sound bed of very cool music. To that end, I license my music from Europe. I probably spend just as much time selecting the music for the podcast as I prepare the rest of the material.
My goal is to cover nearly anything and everything Celina, Texas related. For example, local politics, events, restaurants, stories about people who call Celina home, and more. In essence, I want to make CelinaRadio.com something that is very much worth your time.
